Laura Dern, American actor. Influenced by her acting family, she made an appearance in Goodbye Alice at the age of Seven. He entered the film industry at the age of 12 and in 1986 was awarded the Los Angeles Film Critics Association for Smooth Talk. Her first memorable starring role was in 1990's my heart is wild, and in 1992 she starred in Rambling Rose as a country Hottie, both shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Actress and supporting actress award, along with her mother, in the history of the world. The film most familiar to the general public is Jurassic Park, in which the hero, Jeff, is also her lover. Born on Feb. 10,1967, to Bruce Dern and Diane Ladd, Laura had been on set as a child and even landed a few small roles. When she was two, her parents divorced, and Laura was separated from her father for years. As an adult, she decided to take up acting, and like the children of other young Americans who opposed traditional culture in the 1960s, Laura had a soft spot for mysticism and political radicalism, she was regarded as a monster by her old-fashioned classmates, who made fun of her for her pock-marked figure and boat-like feet before she was 10 years old, laura had to take refuge in the Lee Strasberg. Her first fortuitous performance was in the Fox starring Jodie Foster, followed by her successful performance as the amorous 15 year old Connie in a quiet conversation, earning her first nomination for the Independent Spirit Award. She went on to Star in David Lynch's Blue Velvet and my heart is wild, which earned her a second nomination for the Independent Spirit Award. In 1991, Laura won a nomination from Oscar for her leading role in rose the wild. Since then, she has appeared in a number of impressive films, such as Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III, and Sundance Award winning love never comes back. In 2009, he won the 66th Golden Globes for his film Recount, which won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
