After that, Charles Algernon Parsons earned a master's degree in fine arts from San Diego University, did a few TV commercials in New York, and did a few walk on roles in the movies to try to get a foothold, and those were certainly tough times.
Jim was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Klein Oak High School in 1991 and was voted "the friendliest person" by his class. In 1996, Jim graduated from the Department of Drama and dance at University of Houston. While in college, he and his partners founded a non-profit Theater Company, the Devil's groom studio, and have since embarked on a modest theatrical career. They performed the works of Samuel Beckett and Bertolt Brecht, famous Irish and German playwrights, in warehouses, outdoor spaces, parking lots and theatre stages. His first play, the end, by Samuel Beckett, is still his favorite.
