Audrey Hepburn (May 4,1929-january 20,1993) , British actress, born in Brussels, Belgium, well-known musical and film actress, the last years as UNICEF special envoy. As one of Hollywood's most famous actresses, she is known for her elegant temperament and tasteful dress. Films such as Roman holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany's and My Fair Lady are still regarded as classics by millions of people. In 1999, she was named third in the AFI's 100 Years... 100 Stars.
In 1989, Audrey Hepburn played an angel in her final film, until forever. Between 1988 and 1993, Audrey Hepburn became a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, helping children in Latin America and Africa travel to countries and regions to shout, appeal and raise money for them. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awarded her the 1988 Academy Award for humanity in recognition of her efforts on behalf of children around the world. Her love and personality are as brilliant as her films. In 1993, when the Nobel Peace Prize winner Mother Teresa learned of the Audrey Hepburn's critical condition, he ordered all the nuns to stay up all night praying for Audrey Hepburn's miraculous recovery, which would spread throughout the world. On January 20, Audrey Hepburn died of colon cancer at his home in Toloc Henaz, Switzerland.
